Private Flute Lessons by Lise F. Slack

OC Flute Studio is composed of students who are studying classical flute lessons with Lise F. Slack. Lise has been teaching in Orange County since 1990. Students include 5th grade through 12th grade as well as many adults. Most younger students are members of their school band or orchestra programs and are encouraged to take auditions whenever possible to enhance their performance training. Several current students have won auditions for honor groups including the Four Seasons Orchestras (La Primavera), SCSBOA All-Southern Honor Band, Irvine USD and Huntington Beach UHSD Honor Bands, as well as taking auditions for many other groups.

An annual recital is held in the Spring showcasing students' areas of study and progress.

In addition, Lise Slack is the flute instructor for Mater Dei and Huntington Beach High Schools as well as Chamber Woodwinds Instructor for the Academy for Performing Arts Program at Huntington Beach High School.

She also recently was appointed band instructor at Smith Elementary in Huntington Beach.
